A skilled and seasoned guitarist, Elizabeth lives for music. She has been studying the guitar for over 20 years (as well as many other instruments- tenor sax, pedal steel guitar, and bassoon to name a few). She is known as a strong and dependable touring, sub, and session musician, as well as an inspiring and passionate music educator.
Elizabeth has toured extensively throughout her career, working with Grammy award-winning performers and internationally acclaimed acts; inhabiting a vast spectrum of genres and scenes from intimate dive bars in the American South to the prestige and glamour of performing for royalty at the Monaco Red Cross Gala. She has found herself onscreen featured as a guitarist on the set of "Nashville," and onstage opening for acts such as The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Kool and the Gang, George Benson, Leon Russell, Zucchero, Patricia Kaas, Christine and the Queens, Richard Hogsdon (Supertramp), Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martina McBride, and more.
She is also the founder and owner of Root Note Studio, a highly regarded music lessons studio based out of Lowell, MA and Nashville, TN. Through her work building and managing the studio, she has made her dedication to exemplary, accessible music instruction and community music abundantly clear.
While she teaches all ages and abilities, Elizabeth is additionally sought out as a specialized instructor to some of Nashville's finest performers and songwriters. She distinctly enjoys connecting with a diverse and global student base and is sought out as a guitarist and pedal steel guitarist for hire.
Currently based out of East Nashville, Elizabeth spends her time indulging her love of learning, working on enhancing her interdisciplinary guitar curriculum, exploring innovative teaching strategies, and studying to expand and enrich her own understandings and methods.
